Warranty Policy
Effective Date: July 29, 2024
uHoo Limited (“uHoo”) warrants to the original purchaser that your uHoo device, including any ancillary parts that may be packaged with it (“uHoo device”), shall be free from defects in materials and faulty workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, in its original packaging, except if you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) and you purchased your uHoo device in the EEA, then the warranty period is two years from the date of original purchase (the “Warranty Period”). The warranty covers working parts that affect the function of your uHoo device. It does not warrant that the operation of the uHoo device will be uninterrupted or error-free. It does not apply to the following circumstances:

It does not apply to the following circumstances:
- cosmetic deterioration caused by wear and tear (e.g. scratches and dents);
- damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes;

damages arising from operating uHoo device and accessories
- outside the permitted or intended uses described by uHoo;
- not in accordance with instructions provided by uHoo; or
- with improper voltage or power supply
- software distributed and related services provided by uHoo;
- disassembly or attempt to disassemble, tamper, open, or take apart the uHoo device or its accessories in any manner; or
- alterations unauthorized by uHoo.
Exclusive Remedies
If covered defects arise within the Warranty Period and you submit a claim to uHoo in accordance with this warranty, uHoo shall, at its discretion, (1) repair the uHoo device at no charge using new or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability; or (2) replace the uHoo device with the same model, if available. uHoo reserves the right to change the method by which uHoo may provide warranty service to you.
Claims must be supported by reasonable evidence that the date of the claim is within the Warranty Period. Please keep your original purchase receipt and serial number for the duration of the Warranty period. Any replacement devices shall be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. These are your sole and exclusive remedies.
Shipping and handling charges may apply and if applicable, will be shouldered by you, except when prohibited by applicable law. Shipping costs, handling charges, taxes, custom duties and related costs are nonrefundable. To obtain warranty service, please contact uHoo Support at support@getuhoo.com. You must provide your name, contact information, date of original purchase, and serial number of your uHoo device.
Exclusions and Limitations
No uHoo vendor, reseller, distributor, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Warranty Policy. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
Implied Warranties
This Warranty Policy is exclusive of all other warranties, whether oral or written, express or implied. There are no implied, statutory or other warranties created by the manufacture, sale or use of the product, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and workmanlike effort to the greatest extent allowed under applicable law.
Limitation of Damages
uHoo shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including, without limitation, loss of use; loss of revenue; loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts); loss of anticipated savings; loss of business; loss of opportunity; loss of goodwill; loss of reputation; loss of, damage to, compromise or corruption of data; or resulting from any breach or express or implied warranty or condition or under any other theory of liability (whether contract, tort, including negligence), even if uHoo or its representatives has been advised of the possibility of such damages, except to the extent that this exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Governing Law
This Warranty Policy shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles that may provide the application of the law of another jurisdiction.
